This beautiful calendar presents some prime examples of a wonderful breed relatively new to the USA, the Gypsy Vanner Horse. In Great Britain the Gypsy living wagon has achieved the status of an art form. Around 60 years ago, a group of British Gypsies envisioned a horse colorful and showy enough to complement the intricately carved and brightly painted Gypsy caravan, and began to breed the Vanner. Selectively bred as a small and colorful version of the Shire Draft Horse, the abundant feathering and wonderful temperament of the Gypsy Vanner is swiftly making it a favorite among American horse lovers.
